The name Heaven’s Mailbox comes from the idea that every journal entry, prayer, and quiet thought is sent and stored in heaven. There, God reads, keeps, and treasures each one. One day in eternity, He will show us all the notes He has collected, the prayers that once felt small, uncertain, or unanswered, now fulfilled in His perfect timing.
Writing has always been a bridge between my mind and my heart. The inspiration behind these poems comes from everywhere: a sermon that lingers, a lyric that echoes in my mind, the calm of a blue sky, the weight of a hard season, the sweetness of a good one, or the struggles of a friend.
Heaven’s Mailbox began naturally. Over time, a pattern and rhythm appeared in my journal entries. One morning I wrote a simple poem, and it stayed with me all day like a song you cannot get out of your head. Its rhythm kept the prayer alive in my mind, and poetry became a way to “pray without ceasing.”
I shared my first poem on VSCO, and to my surprise, it resonated with others. Encouraged by that, I began typing up my poems, and Heaven’s Mailbox slowly took shape.
And that brings me here, creating a space where these poems can live beyond the screen. My hope is that they find a place in your home, tucked into corners and common spaces as gentle reminders of truth. That they draw your attention back to the Almighty God by cutting through the noise of daily life.
May these pieces help us fill our days with more of Him and less of the world, to be light in the darkness, to carry the gospel wherever we go, and to let His presence shape the way we speak, respond, and live.
That is my prayer.
And I ask God to do what He wills with Heaven’s Mailbox, to have His way.
